Greetings all!
Mark the date! On June 22, 2018 we will be having our 16 years X-Raiders Celebration.
So far, we will have 3 out of the 4 Founders present (Axis, Uxot and Kaldwen) as well as many ancient-era players hoping in for the event!
I will be offering help to anyone who wishes to get assistance acquiring, setting up or getting the game ready for the event.
Current tentative time for event start should be either 7 or 9pm, but very likely will extend throughout the rest of the night.
Depending on the availability, I would also like to perhaps get a group-tournament over The Castle mod (Swords and blood mod) game going on later as well.
X-Raiders as well as Guests are welcomed! We are on:
- Facebook: www.facebook.com/groups/xraiders
- Discord: www.x-raiders.net/discord/join
- Steam: steamcommunity.com/groups/x-raiders
For those interested, please fill out this survey whenever possible! It will help with organisation of the event. Thank you :)

Greetings all!
With GTA V's release, its no wonder the popularity that the Online version has acquired among gamers around the world.
Although only available on Console for now (360/PS3), I have created a Rockstar SocialClub "crew" for X-Raiders and have been actively playing since its Online release on October first (Single Player being the only thing available since September 17) and frankly, its has been quite fun!
This is why I extend this invitation for everyone in the X-Raiders Network who currently owns a console and GTA V to come and join the fun online with the X-Raiders Crew!

The X-R Forum (www.x-raiders.net/forum and Archive at www.x-raiders.net/forum2) has always been an important place for most of us. Keeping communications possible among various timezones and difficult schedules, this magnificent communication tool has allowed players from around the world to maintain a dialog among the team and helped greatly to coordinate group events such as Tournaments and more.
Although very convenient, social communications have evolved greatly in the past 10 years and we have seen many great tools come and die (R.I.P. MSN) but one change that seems to be quite strong now is undeniably Facebook.
Seeing that everyone is mostly on Facebook, I have come to the conclusion that it might be a good idea to test the viability of a Facebook-powered Forum as opposed to my beloved NetForum.
So here it is,

Hello, fellow X-Raiders!
If you've been paying attention to the news section recently, we´ve started a Republic guild in Star Wars The Old Republic. We're located on the Ahto City server and trying to get things going at the moment.
Recruiting for a existing guild isn't that hard, very much people are looking for a PvP/PvE guild, such as this one. BUT! Our guild has not yet been created. Why?
Well, to create a guild you need a party of four and there simply isn´t as many who wants to join a party first in order to join a guild. Party usually disbands in search for more members that takes quite alot of time. So I need your help!
If you guys, even the ones who aren´t interested in joining X-Raiders on Ahto City could just come online on Ahto City and look up Lena or add necrandea on Xfire so we could create a party and finally get this guild going, that would be most appriceated!
Thanks,
Deaval

Please be aware that of today October 22 2009, Windows 7 is officially out! Declassing Windows XP as a third generation old Operating System.
I recommand anyone who still has XP but were still hesitating due to the overwelming (<.<) popularity of Vista to have a second look at this new & better version of Vista: Win7.
Tho it STILL doesn't integrate the now soo long awaited Salamand revolutionary driver upgrade promised since WinXP, it does seem at first view like a much better system including various advantages from Vista and yet, not all of its faults.
I will give more news as time passes by to test this new release.

On Thursday, Nvidia reported a first-quarter loss, as revenue fell 42 percent from last year. But the graphics chipmaker said inventory was easing.
The company announced a net loss of $201.3 million, or 37 cents a share. Last year in the same period, the company posted a profit of $176.8 million, or 30 cents a share.
Revenue was $664.2 million, down from $1.15 billion for the same period last year. This was better than the analysts' average estimate of $534.4 million, however.
Adjusted net loss was 9 cents a share. Analysts had expected a loss of 10 cents a share, according to Reuters estimates.

The 2007 video game is a sequel to John Woo's 1992 Hong Kong action flick, Hard Boiled. The game stars Chow Yun-Fat, who played inspector Tequla Yuen. The video game was the first project the two had collaborated on since Hard Boiled.

In a call to discuss its quarterly financial results, Take-Two announced a sequel for BioShock. No details regarding the game were given. However, Take-Two executives confirmed previous rumors that the Irrational Games team (now 2K Boston) would not be developing the sequel. Instead, 2K Marin has been tasked with creating the next in the BioShock franchise. 2K Boston's Ken Levine will be involved in the sequel, however.
If you're wondering why Take-Two would announce Bioshock 2 so early, it is likely due to EA's recent attempts at acquiring the company. Confirmation of a BioShock sequel will only increase Take-Two's value.
BioShock 2 is set for release in Q4 of Take-Two's fiscal year 2009. That would be around October '09.

Graphics card manufacturer Palit Microsystems recently cut orders for about 400,000 Nvidia GPUs for first quarter of 2009 due to high inventory levels, according to industry sources. Inventory pile-up at graphics card makers from the second half of 2008 is expected to affect Nvidia's fiscal first quarter 2009 performance.
Nvidia has lowered its fourth-quarter (ended January 25, 2009) revenue guidance to a 40-50% sequential decline due to inventory reductions by its channel partners in the global PC supply chain.
Prior to Palit's order cuts, graphics card makers Asustek Computer, Micro-Star International (MSI), Gigabyte Technology and PC Partner have also reduced orders with Nvidia, according to the sources. Nvidia is estimated to have lost orders of almost 1.5 million GPUs, said the sources.
Nvidia declined the opportunity to comment.

June 22, The X-Raiders Team is celebrating their 5 years of existance. Since June 22 2002 on JK2 to June 22 2007, the "X-Raiders" name has always been associated to the Star Wars Univers. To workaround, we launched the uXa | Universal X-Raiders Army in fall 2005, propulsing the X-R's member into the world of MultiGaming by providing support and ressources for new Gaming Divisions. Some of thoses Divisions never made it up past couples months while other Divisions are still up and running today.
-=( A new name )=-
In concerns of the future of our new communauty, the "X-Raiders" name will now be liberated from the exclusivity of Star Wars themed games, replacing the uXa as main entity. Called The "X-Raiders Network", this Gaming Network will represent the ever growing communauty that has become the uXa and related Divisions.
This is a short list of some changes (or not) in the Divisions:
Old |

uXa | COD2 |
X-R | COD2 (xRaiders) |

Most main web sites that were under "www.uxarmy.net/<site>" (besides sites or Divisions that will remain under the name of uXa) will be moved to "www.x-raiders.net/<site>". The JK3 Web Site, previously under "www.x-raiders.net" will be moved to "www.x-raiders.net/jk3" or "www.x-raiders.tk".
-=( New Services )=-
The X-Raiders Network will start offering new services for their Divisions or contacts. For the moment our projects concerns:
- Web Mail
- Web Hosting
- Concept / Design
We will be expecting many more services and ressources in a near future.
-=( Sponsorship )=-
We have now started to support Sponsorship in particular Divisions, opening the doors to services exchanges and partenership with known names or companies. Implanted to increase the available ressources of our communauty, theses new changes will allow us to support and be supported.
Our first Sponsorship, quite spectacular, concerns Alienware and the Call of Duty 2 Division.
